LACROIX - MACKINNON Mr. Philip LaCroix of Colchester and Ms. Lainnie LaCroix of Rutland announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessie LaCroix, to Christopher MacKinnon, son of Larry and Sylvia MacKinnon of Williston. Ms. LaCroix, a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, received her master's in Community Mental Health, and is employed at the Department of Mental Health, and is a professor at the Community College of Vermont teaching courses in Psychology. Mr. MacKinnon is a graduate of Berklee College of Music where he majored in Music Production and Engineering, and is employed at Advance Music. He also is the drummer for the band Near North. They live in Essex Junction where they foster a three year old child from the Department of Children and Families. They both attended Colchester High School and were in the school band. A July 26, 2014, wedding is being held in Vermont.
